Michael Zagury
Michael E. Zagury, MPA, is the principal officer of MJZagury & Associates LLC, a Risk and Resource Management consulting firm. He is a retired police captain with 38 years of public safety experience including police, fire, emergency medical services and emergency management. Mike has degrees in sociology, criminal justice and a master’s degree in public administration. He is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy, Quantico Virginia, and guest lectured for the National Academy on Grants & Resources from 1997 to 2008. Mike provides national training, consultation & technical assistance to federal, state, local and tribal governmental agencies, as well as non-profit and grassroots community service organizations. He works with the USDOJ-Office of Justice Programs, the Bureau of Justice Assistance-National Training and Technical Assistance Center, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), in addition to holding a position as an adjunct criminal justice professor.
