See a snapshot below of the exciting new programming that will be offered in this track.
Going "Over the Top:" The Future of 3D Location Technology and Benefits for Public Safety. This workshop will focus on 3D location technology that can assist agencies in locating officers. Agencies will learn about the accuracy and ability to locate responders in multi-story buildings and other structures.
Law Enforcement Interaction with Mobile Driver's Licenses. Some states are experimenting with digital driver’s licenses that will be presented to officers on drivers’ smartphones. Knowing how to quickly validate these documents is critical to officer safety and in directing an officer's course of action. The workshop will prepare your agency to understand why mobile identification is being pursued, what the status is of mobile identification research and learn what impact this may have on law enforcement today and in the future.
These workshop sessions and more will be presented at the 2019 IACP Technology Conference in Jacksonville, Florida, May 20-22. Register now so you don’t miss out on these great workshops.
