IACP 2015 Special Event Feature – Motorola and CPD Ride for the Memorial
The 2015 International Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Conference and Exposition is a time when thousands of law enforcement professionals from all over the world converge in one place. This provides attendees with a once-a-year opportunity to expand their professional network and connect with colleagues from all over the world.
From attending workshops to browsing the Expo Hall, there are many ways for attendees to connect. There are also numerous special events outside the convention center that give attendees the opportunity to spend some quality time with fellow officers, colleagues, and peers. The Motorola and Chicago Police Department Ride for the Memorial on Saturday, October 24, is just one of these community-building events.
Chi-Town Harley Davidson in Tinley Park serves as the home base for this motorcycle ride. Riders and their passengers will start at Chi-Town Harley Davidson with a continental breakfast. At 8:30 AM, everyone will take off and enjoy a scenic, police-escorted ride through the beautiful Starved Rock State Park in LaSalle County, Illinois. Lunch will be provided at the Starved Rock Lodge.
This event is limited to 250 participants, so be sure to register today. The registration fee is $50.00 per rider and passenger. Registration for this event is separate from general conference registration.
