Police Psychological Services Section
The Section offers psychological solutions to the problems faced by police agencies in the areas of personnel assessment, individual as well as organizational intervention, consultation and operational assistance.
Police Research Advancement Section
The Police Research Advancement Section advances relevant research of and for the policing profession through advising on and promoting evidence-based policies and practices, and assists with the creation and support of practitioner/research partnerships.
Private Sector Liaison Section
The Private Sector Liaison Section actively promotes an increased executive law enforcement awareness of current issues facing the law enforcement profession and emphasizes the role of the private sector and public-private partnerships that address such topics.
Public Information Officers Section
The PIO Section promotes the exchange of information and training among officers responsible for planning and implementing effective public information programs.
Railroad Police Section
The Railroad Police Section explores ways to improve services of those responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people and goods traveling by rail.
University/College Police Section
The University & College Police Section represents the interests of sworn campus public safety within the IACP.
